Children’s Birthday

On request, we would be very happy to organise the children’s birthdays in English!

Dates can be firmly booked only in written form, specifying name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.
We respectfully request you note that telephone information can only be given with regard to free date slots and general information, and bear in mind that dates are being constantly booked. After reception, requests are dealt with in succession.

Appointed Times: Daily at 2.30 pm

Duration: 2 ½ hours

Group size: Optimally 12 persons, maximum 15 persons (children and max. 2 adults).
So as to be able to run the programme according to plan we request you arrive punctually. Please inform your guests of this as well! For logistical reasons the children must not arrive later than a maximum of ten minutes after the start of the party. Picking the children up before the end of the party is not possible.

The Children’s Birthday “On the trail of Sisi and Franz Joseph through the palace” takes you through the rooms where the imperial couple lived in Schönbrunn Palace.
All the children get dressed up, the birthday girl or boy as Empress Elisabeth or Emperor Franz Joseph. Afterwards the children are shown the home apartments of the imperial couple in Schönbrunn and learn about the life of Sisi and Franz Joseph.

Target group – as of 7th birthday.

• Sachertorte, size 24 cm in diameter (can be individually portioned), incl. decoration, see price on the price chart.
• A pair of hotdogs with bread roll, mustard and ketchup, see price on price chart.

You can bring your own snack. The birthday snack takes place in the snack bars in the Children’s Museum Schönbrunn Palace. Please note that a barrier-free access to this area is not possible. Should you need this facility please contact us at kinder[at]schoenbrunn.at.

Raspberry juice, table decorations and tableware are included in the fixed price. Candles may not be lit in the palace rooms because of fire protection regulations. We respectfully remind you that you may not bring your own table decorations.

A deposit has to be paid for the children’s birthday party. This payment is to be made around 6 weeks prior to the booked date. The remaining amount is then to be paid on the day of the party, plus for any possible additional persons and reserved snack. Once you have booked you will be sent a down-payment invoice along with the reservation documents.
